Pumpkins For Pooches
For the second year in a row, MOBC hosted a charity pumpkin sale to raise money for the Briard Medical Trust.
Although October weekends started off ominously for our sale, by the time October 18th hit, we were blessed with beautiful weather again this year.
Dogs and their people turned out to support the club, support the trust and enjoy the day together. Tizzie was present with Barbara; Chuck and Deb brought Clousseau and Chloe; young boy Luke accompanied Elke; Karen brought Twist; and Maureen and Andy brought Zander. Some visitors wandered over with their own dogs, curious about our costumed shaggies.
In spite of a challenging local economy and very soft pumpkin prices regionally this year, the MOBC was able to raise over $500 to donate to the trust.
